Project Architect / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of the construction project. You will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and technical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the entire Project Team
  • Oversee project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and complete self-checks for accuracy and omissions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to define project scope and objectives
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and project team members on effective project management practices
  • Expectations kept for fulfilling 40-hour Monday-Friday work with flexibility for personal obligations

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • 10+ years of related experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
  • Proficiency in project management software and architectural design tools such as Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD
  • Strong technical expertise related to design, construction, and code compliance
  • Experience in compiling data, performing design computations, and area calculations according to specified standards

Preferred

  • Architecture Licensure in the State of Utah
  • LEED Accredited Professional
  • Experience with healthcare and K-12 education projects

Architectural Designer

NJRA Architects offers a career opportunity for an experienced Architectural Designer who will fit into our collaborative environment and grow professionally while contributing to the continued growth of our architectural team. We focus on mission-driven, user-centered buildings that foster and inspire environments that promote health, healing, and education. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate can:

  • Effectively take information from the Project Managers and redlines, and ensure translation of design intent to drawings you will create for all design phases in an accurate and timely manner
  • Research, compile, and record information related to elements of the design solution for use in design documents and specifications
  • Think creatively and offer critical thinking about design problems and solutions
  • Coordinate and create project-specific drawings
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Architecture graduates from an NAAB-accredited program
  • Extremely proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM practices
  • Proficient working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • A strong work ethic, results-oriented, and an ability to self-start
  • Organized with strong communication skills
